from the early eighties i started producing
some works that are not exactly traditional in their manner of execution and presentation.
they ware based on manifesting a certian idea and turning it into a concrete work that has to do with the nature of art and its concerns.
i have produced many works using sheet metal scissors, empty food cans, cardbard boxes, coir, magazines papers,
plastec, and other discarded items. i start cutting, fitting and connecting pieces as far away from craft work as possible. the execution mechanism in this manner is primitive and organic in nature, and it involves carrying out contradictory acts that employ chance, order, coordination, chaos and other variable elements. the resolts of this method are sounds, forms and figures related to reality and its various components: faces, cars, bodies, houses ect.... all these forms and figures can be linked to the nature of reality and concepts of consumerism, conflicting aspirations, and different languages.
